We developed a highly specialized, proprietary Leasing Administration and Marketing System (LAMS) to efficiently manage marketing and leasing of student housing properties. This Web-based software delivers a host of productivity-driven benefits that standard multi-family housing programs can't achieve, including automated:

• Measurement of marketing medium effectiveness, closing ratios and unit type absorption
• Real-time monitoring of lease closings and leasing terms
• Comprehensive leasing reports
• Leases and future period rent rolls

Inside Track

Our people are our strength. That's why American Campus conducts an intensive training program for staff members who are hand-chosen for career advancement. Each candidate is assigned a mentor and attends a three-day institute, followed by an eight-month program focused on community operations, leadership and management. If successful, Inside Trackers assume a general manager position in less than a year. Residence life and student development

Our residence life model encompasses a back to basics approach that utilizes the core components of what is tried and true about residence life and student development. Maslow's Hierarchy serves as the foundation for the program and it is supported by three core components: personnel, programming, and community standards. We have established organizational systems and procedures that enable us to effectively use these core components to meet the objectives of our residence life model.
